Thuja occidentalis Rheingold

Height: 0,3 m

Rheingold eastern arborvitae is a slow-growing, compact evergreen ornamental shrub. Thanks to its unique golden-yellow foliage and rounded shape, it is popular in gardens and rock gardens. It can reach a height of 1.5-2 meters and a width of 1-1.5 meters, but it grows slowly. Its leaves are golden yellow, taking on a copper-red or bronze tint in the autumn and winter period. Its shape is naturally beautiful, but it can be pruned if needed. It needs a sunny or partially shaded spot and well-structured soil. Water needs are moderate; it is important to water after planting, and also during droughts. It can be planted as a specimen, or in combination with other plants.
